Best Napa Winery Views

If you want some amazing views and obviously some great wines, you can’t miss these spots!

Promontory

I have never seen a winery with a cool water feature and one that starts you off with a glass of Dom! Kassandra was our host at Promontory and she was beyond knowledgeable. After taking in the amazing views and scoring some awesome IG photos, we went underground to barrel taste. Our wine glasses were set on a natural granite stone found on the property and used as centerpiece for all of the barrels. I do want to give you a heads up. Tastings are $200/pp but they go towards your wine purchase. Most people’s eyes pop out when I tell them the price of a bottle but I do believe it was worth it. They are $850 a bottle but are ready to drink now, plus at the end of the day you get $400 off so “when in Rome.” We purchased the 2011 that we tasted as that is the year we were married so it will be a great memory for our 10 yr anniversary this year.

Reverie II

Don’t bring your men here! They will immediately be envious of Austin and the guys who own Reverie! They make fabulous wine, a stunning property to just relax at and surrounded by their adorable dogs. Austin drove us through the property to the top of the mountain to a look out patio. We sipped on wine and absorbed the pure bliss. Once you arrive back at the property, we sat and enjoyed their bubbles while playing with Pedals the dog! Unfortunately they lost Pedals to heart failure Aug 2021 but you might be able to meet Noosa!

Amizetta

You can not compare this view to any other spot. It is so good our friends got “re-engaged” here! Located at the top of Howell Mountain, you look down on their vineyard, Lake Hennessy, Pritchet Hill and when the sky is clear you can see San Pablo bay. Not only does Amizetta have some of the best bottles of wine I’ve ever enjoyed, but their hospitality and experience is like a dream.

Domaine Carneros

If you want Sparkling with a view, Domaine Carneros will not disappoint! They also specialize in Pinot Noir. The chateau sits on top of a knoll surrounded by the estate vineyards. As you walk up the grand staircase, you take in the beautiful gardens. You may choose to enjoy your wine outside on the terrace or inside. The interior reminds me of the Beauty and the Beast ballroom!

OVID

Ovid is located on top Pritchert Hill which you are able to enjoy views from many tasting areas; the great room, gorgeous deck or the private tasting room which is where were went to taste 4 of their wines. During your visit you will walk the property and be able to see for miles from multiple locations.

Palmaz

Not only are the exterior views at Palmaz memorable but the inside has a one of a kind experience as well. The winery is built into the mountain and uses gravity flow for wine production. You start outside enjoying a glass of rose enjoying the views and walking the property. My favorite part is the private tasting rooms. Simple beauty with delicious wine and bites.

Davis Estates

My favorite part about Davis Estates was the views front their patio. Not only were the oversized swinging benches fun to sip wine on but enjoying the views with the perfect food and wine pairing made this spot a contender on the list! Our host new all of the fabulous photograph tips; you take one next to the mirrored windows so you aren’t squinting in the sun but have the view of the vineyard reflected in to the window!
